lobster/crab catchers

found these rather rustic looking lobster/crab catchers whilst wandering around..love the different colours and textures - each cage was a completely different shape and design adding to the attraction

Anthony Gormley in the Lakes

At the south end of Lake Coniston in the Lake District stands one of Anthony Gormley's cast iron figures.

Presuming it is one of the of collection that appeared on the roofs of certain London buildings a few years ago.

This time he stands alone, on the ground in a very peaceful area...quite spooky if you don't know he's there - I came across it a few years ago unexpectedly.

La Manual Alpargatera - Barcelona

a slightly tatty selection of shoes but making the point that espadrilles are the shoe choice of the summer.

recently came across espadrille heaven in the old town part of Barcelona - La Manual Alpargatera - the shop is celing to floor, fully filled of every type and colour of espadrille.

Barcelona Doors
