looking at the idea of unused/abondened space still....watched Grey Gardens (original version of course) do not know how many times ive watched it now but it continues to entertain.Grey Gardens (1972) - the lives of Big Edie and Little Edie Beale, was made into a film by the Maysles brothers and captures the 'everyday' lives of the eccentric mother and daughter.
Little Edie is a style influence in herself - most notably for the turban and (i think) for the certain see through front leotard in American Apparel, who knows?
