Art Against Knives @ Spitalfields

Opening party last night to launch a new Art Against Knives exhibition at Spitalfields market, all organised by the lovely Katy Dawe and Oliver Helmsley plus others.
The exhibition will be on all weekend displaying photography, paintings etc...just look out for the big red bus

Eve Appeal with Linda Barker
Spent the day at The Gore Hotel on Thursday hosting an event for the Eve Appeal - http://www.eveappeal.org.uk/ and Katherine Elizabeth Millinery - http://www.katherineelizabethhats.co.uk/. Interior designer Linda Barker and daughter kindly gave their time to come along and join in the event promoting awareness for female cancer cases.
The afternoon was spent designing and making hats as well as themed vintage afternoon tea and champers.
the Eve Appeal have launched a cosmetics line 'all for eve' including amazing hand cream, shower gel and lipsticks. This has all been made possible with the backing from George Hammer, beauty entrepreneur who created 'The Sanctuary', 'Aveda' and 'Urban Retreat' to name a few.

Fat Faced Cat
A vintage and retro clothes shop who have already been based in the arcade in Camden Passage (Islington) for the past ten years, have now moved into what used to be half of FrostFrench...to date, they've been there a week now.
A really good selection of vintage clothes, shoes, jewellery and bags...refreshingly different to most "vintage" places around

Worked last night at Sketch, London on behalf of Katherine Elizabeth Millinery.
One of the biggest jobs yet, teaching basic millinery to 22 lovely ladies as part of a corporate event.
Katherine has been doing millinery for the past 10 years. having worked initially for Stephen Jones she then has set up her own business based in Clerkenwell and has clients such as Lilly Allen, Alexa Chung and Dita Von Teese...
